Oryginalny tekst:

This conference is targeted at judges from all jurisdictions, as well as at public prosecutors. The acquisition of intercultural competence has become a major focus of continuing education in the business sector. But in the courtroom as well, dealing with participants from foreign cultural circles presents a challenge for daily practice. Often, intercultural competence is the prerequisite for fair and efficient shaping of the proceedings.

The goal of the conference is to enhance the intercultural skills of the participants. The participants will recall their own cultural heritage and address the theoretical foundations of intercultural communication. The conference will then examine various other cultural circles. A major focus here will be on the law and culture of Islam. The problems of and with immigrants from Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa will be addressed as well. Further topics of the conference include examining non-German proceeding participants, as well as working with interpreters at oral argument. Conveying theoretical knowledge will be complemented with practical exercises and group work.
