W dniach 23-27 sierpnia 2010 roku w Kromeriz, w Republice Czeskiej odbędzie się „Międzynarodowa letnia szkoła języka prawniczego-International Summer School of Legal English".
Szkolenie jest kierowane do sędziów wszystkich apelacji jak i prokuratorów. Niezbędny poziom ogólnego języka angielskiego to upper intermediate.
Głównym przedmiotem tegorocznego seminarium jest “Przemoc domowa”.

The objective of this Summer School is to offer the participants an opportunity to find out about the law through legal language. Participants will expand their knowledge of legal terminology. They will be able to improve their written and spoken English.
This course is relevant to judges and prosecutors of all specialties. The necessary level of their knowledge of English is upper intermediate.
The general topic chosen for this year is "Domestic Violence". Participants will share information on the laws of their countries, space will be dedicated also to protective orders and the victims. Another discussed topics will be the syndrom of the battered person, the whole area of family abuse (elder abuse, child abuse, mental health, alcohol, etc.) and recanting witnesses.
The whole course is of practical nature, authentic materials will be used. Participants will read and listen, speak and write, discuss. Development of the ability to use legal language is aimed at. The course will be lead by experienced trainers with legal background.
